Rose May Dance

Rose, aka Gweneth Dietrich, is one of the Mothers of Reclaiming and has been in the collective since around 1980. She is a teacher and the trainer of many teachers and initiates. Rose specializes in trance magic and is well known for healing work. She is an earth-based political activist and has retired from a career in the AIDS field into a clinical practice of hypnotherapy. She would be nowhere without her sense of humor.

Heidi Marian

Heidi is a wild-hearted green witch, social scientist, Reclaiming initiate and community priestess. By trade, she is an environmental anthropologist who works on climate change issues. Her craft training is rooted in Anderson Feri and Reclaiming traditions. Born and raised in San Francisco, she makes her home in the South of Market neighborhood, where weeds crack through concrete.

Some of the main tools and allies she works with include hearth tending, stone and plant medicine, non-violent communication, facilitation, and laughter. Her heart's passion lies in the merging of the right and left hand path of magic, in doing the deep down rooted work of turning the tides, of living a life of commitment in a complex and perilous world.

Gwydion Logan

Gwydion is a queer man, born and raised on a farm in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been priestessing and teaching in the Reclaiming San Francisco Bay Area and international communities for over 25 years. He is a devoted science geek, who is fascinated by protein structures and cell surface receptors but equally interested in botany, herbal medicine, and ecological interdependency. He thrives when standing at the intersection of science, magic, and mystery-- weaving spells into the cauldron of molecular sequences and genomic memory. As his beard turns increasingly gray, he can be found brewing potions and crafting magical tools.
